— With the help of RAM Trucks, Earl’s Cyclery and Fitness, the University Mall of South Burlington and the public, a South Burlington car dealer was able make a little girl’s dream come true last weekend.

Goss Dodge Chrysler and RAM Trucks joined Preston’s March For Energy to raise funds for a specialized adaptive bike for Delaney Johnson of Essex Junction.

Little “Del”, as her family likes to call her, has a rare neurological disorder known as alternating hemiplegia of childhood; one of her dreams was to be able to ride a bike with her friends and family.

“Over 100 RAM Truck test drives were conducted at the fundraiser event on Saturday at the U-Mall and we raised over $3,700 to pay for the custom bike for Delaney,” according to Internet Manager Seamus Culey of Goss. “Preston and the Preston’s March for Energy team presented the bike to her at the event, and what a special presentation it was for all involved. Our heartfelt thanks goes out to all who contributed to make this special day happen.”
