Kate Livesay ‘03 joins lacrosse coaching staff

Former Middlebury College All-American Kate (Perine) Livesay ’03 has been named the school’s new women’s lacrosse assistant coach. She comes to Middlebury from NESCAC foe Trinity, where she served as the head coach for the past eight seasons, amassing a stunning career record of 127-26 (.830).

Schmidt to head diving

Kimberly (Kimi) Schmidt has been named the new diving coach at Middlebury College. She replaces Lisa Gibbs, who stepped down after 16 years of service to the program. Schmidt will serve under the direction of Panther head coach Bob Rueppel.

Foote to step down next season

Longtime Middlebury College lacrosse coach and administrator Missy Foote will retire in June 2015 after a 38-year career at the College. Foote has coached women’s lacrosse at Middlebury for 34 years, and spent 21 years at the helm of the field hockey program. She is currently associate director of athletics and has also served as the department’s senior woman administrator for the past 17 years.

Pincus finishes ninth in javelin At NCAA Championship

Lauren Pincus capped off her career as a member of the Middlebury women’s track & field team with a ninth-place finish in the javelin toss during the final day of the 2014 NCAA Outdoor Championships hosted by Ohio Wesleyan in Delaware, Ohio.
